Terms and Conditions
* ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to VikramChauhan.com.
When you access VikramChauhan.com ("the Site"), you enter into the User Agreement on the Terms and Conditions (TaC) set out below. This
Agreement is for an indefinite term. Subject to the terms contained herein, VikramChauhan.com can terminate this Agreement for any reason
provided that such termination shall be conditional upon, including but not limited to, discharge of all contractual and statutory obligations.
* Changes
We reserve the right to add to or change/modify the terms of this
Agreement. It is your responsibility as a user to refer to the terms and
conditions on accessing this service. Changes could be made by us after
the first posting to the Site and you will be deemed to have accepted
any change if you continue to access the Site after that time.
This Site reserves the right to modify, suspend/cancel, or discontinue
any or all sections, or service at any time without notice, make
modifications and alterations in any or all of the content, products and
services contained on the site without prior notice.

* DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
VikramChauhan.com is a publishing site of short humour stories written
by Vikram Chauhan. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features
that augment or enhance the current Service shall be subject to this
TaC.
In order to use the Service, you must obtain access to the World Wide
Web, either directly or through devices that access web-based content,
and pay any service fees associated with such access. In addition, you
must provide all equipment necessary to make such connection to the
World Wide Web, including a computer and modem or other access device.
* PRIVACY POLICY
It is VikramChauhan.com’s policy to respect the privacy of Members.
VikramChauhan.com will not monitor, edit, or disclose the contents of a
Member's information unless required to do so by law or in the good
faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to the edicts
of the law or comply with legal process served on VikramChauhan.com; (2)
protect and defend the rights or property of VikramChauhan.com; or (3)
act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of
VikramChauhan.com service's users or the public; (4) fix or debug
problems with VikramChauhan.com servers/software/service. However,
VikramChauhan.com has the right to disclose Member's name or contact
information to any third party.
* INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold VikramChauhan.com, and its subsidiaries,
affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and
employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable
attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of our
Content, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, your
violation of the TaC, or your violation of any rights of another.
* Charges
This Site reserves the right to charge subscription or membership fees
in respect of any part, aspect of this Site upon reasonable prior
notice.
* Copyright and Trademarks
Unless otherwise stated, copyright and all intellectual property rights
in all material presented on the site (including but not limited to
text, audio, video or graphical images), trademarks and logos appearing
on this site are the property of VikramChauhan.com and protected under
applicable Indian laws. Any infringement shall be vigorously defended
and pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.
* Limited Permission to Copy
You are permitted to print or download extracts from these pages for
your personal non-commercial use only. Any copies of these pages saved
to disk or to any other storage medium may only be used for subsequent
viewing purposes or to print extracts for personal use. You may not
(whether directly or through the use of any software program) create a
database in electronic or structured manual form by regularly or
systematically downloading and storing all or any part of the pages from

VikramChauhan.com shall not be liable to you or to any third party for
any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
* Individual Registration, Access and Exchange of Information
For certain upcoming services registration by visitor is required. By
registering, you agree to the following terms in addition to any other
specific terms, which shall be posted at an appropriate location of the
Site.
Each registration is for a single individual user only. To access these
services, you will be asked to enter your individual User Name and
Password. Therefore, we do not permit any of the following:-
1. Any other person sharing your User Name and Password
2. Any part of the Site being cached in proxy servers and accessed by
individuals who have not registered with VikramChauhan.com as users of the Site
3. Access through a single User Name and Password being made available
to multiple users on a network. If we reasonably believe that a User
Name and Password are being used in any of these ways, we reserve the
right to cancel access rights immediately without notice, and block
access to all users from that IP address.
All information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs,
graphics, video, messages or other materials, whether publicly or
privately transmitted/posted, is the sole responsibility of the person
from where such content originated.
You shall be solely responsible for all content that you upload, post or
otherwise transmit. VikramChauhan.com does not control the content
posted and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or
quality of such content.
You understand that by using such services, you may be exposed to
objectionable matter. Under no circumstances will VikramChauhan.com be
liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, for
any errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage of any
kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, uploaded on
this site.
By using the facility to upload you agree not to upload, post, or
otherwise transmit any matter or views that is/are, defamatory, abusive,
obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically
or otherwise objectionable.
You may also not indulge in cyber stalking become or create a nuisance
for any person.
You may not send, submit, post, or otherwise transmit, messages or
material that contain software virus, or any other files that are
designed to interrupt, destroy, and negatively affect in any manner
whatsoever, any electronic equipment in connection with the use of this
site, or other user's ability to engage in real time exchanges.
VikramChauhan.com shall at its sole discretion terminate your account
without any prior notice for any violation of the Terms of Use.
* CONTENT SUBMITTED
All content posted by you becomes the property of VikramChauhan.com and
you agree to grant/assign the royalty free, perpetual right to use,
reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works
from, distribute, perform and display such content (in whole or part)
worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or
technology now known or later developed. You also agree that your
identity, including name and location, will be used wherever
VikramChauhan.com wishes to do the same.
You acknowledge that VikramChauhan.com does not pre-screen Content, but
that VikramChauhan.com and its designees shall have the right (but not
the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any Content
that is available via the Service. Without limiting the foregoing,
VikramChauhan.com and its designees shall have the right to remove any
Content that violates the TaC or is otherwise objectionable. You agree
that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of
any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or

* Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

* TERMINATION
You agree that VikramChauhan.com, in its sole discretion, may terminate
its serviceand remove and discard any Content within the Service, for
any reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use or if
VikramChauhan.com believes that you have violated or acted
inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the TaC. VikramChauhan.com
may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing
the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that
any termination of your access to the Service under any provision of
this TaC may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree
that VikramChauhan.com may immediately deactivate or delete your content
and all related information and files and/or bar any further access to
such files or the Service. Further, you agree that VikramChauhan.com
shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of
your access to the Service.
* Advertising and promotions
The Site will contain advertising and other material submitted to
VikramChauhan.com by third parties. Advertisers are responsible for
ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Site complies with
applicable International and National law.
VikramChauhan.com will not be responsible for any advertiser's claim,
error, omission or inaccuracy in advertising material, and reserves the
right to omit, suspend or change the position of any advertising
material submitted for insertion. Acceptance of advertisements on the
Site will be subject to VikramChauhan.com terms and conditions, which
are available on request.
You also agree that you will not attempt to block or otherwise interfere

so is grounds for immediate termination of service.

subject to change. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or

and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations
associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such

You agree that VikramChauhan.com shall not be responsible or liable for
any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such

Service.
* MEMBER CONDUCT
You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound,
photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials ("Content"),
whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole
responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This
means that you, and not VikramChauhan.com, are entirely responsible for
all Content that you upload, post or otherwise transmit via the Service.
VikramChauhan.com does not control the Content posted via the Service
and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of
such Content. You understand that by using the Service, you may be
exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable.
You agree to not use the Service to:

to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer
software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
(g) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks
connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures,
policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
(h) intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local,
state, national or international law, and any regulations having the
force of law;
(i) "stalk" or otherwise harass another;
(j) collect or store personal data about other users;
(k) promote or provide instructional information about illegal
activities, promote physical harm or injury against any group or
individual, or promote any act of cruelty to animals. This may include,
but is not limited to, providing instructions on how to assemble bombs,
grenades and other weapons sites
* Data Protection
VikramChauhan.com may send information and offers of products and
services to you from time to time.
* Force Majeure
VikramChauhan.com shall have no liability to you for any interruption or
delay in access to the Site irrespective of the cause.
* Indian Law
The Agreement shall be governed by the Laws of India. The Courts of law
at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising
under this agreement.
* PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
You acknowledge and agree that the Service and any necessary software
used in connection with the Service ("Software") contain proprietary and
confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual
property and other laws. You further acknowledge and agree that Content
contained in sponsor advertisements or information presented to you
through the Service or advertisers is protected by copyrights,
trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws.
Except as expressly authorized by Pyra or advertisers, you agree not to
modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works
based on the Service or the Software, in whole or in part.
* DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:
(a) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS
PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. VikramChauhan.com
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
(b) VikramChauhan.com MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICE WILL MEET
YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY,
SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE
USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY
PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED
BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, AND (V) ANY
ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED.
(c) ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE
SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE
SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF
DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.
(d) NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU
FROM VikramChauhan.com OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY
WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TaC.
* LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT VikramChauhan.com SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR
EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF
PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF
VikramChauhan.com HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES),
RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii)
THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM
ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR
MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE
SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR
TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON
THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
* Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the
parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes and
replaces all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements,
written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
* VIOLATIONS
